We all have a story to tell...
I practice by accident, you might say— stumbled into my mindfulness
following a suggestion from my therapist to help recover from a messy divorce.

Exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally,
and with little hope or expectation, I signed up for Yoga Teacher Training.
​
To my surprise, the next four years became a season of transition and reflection...
I taught yoga full-time and dove deep into my personal practice. On my mat, I experienced a depth of inner calm unlike anything I’d ever known. Committing to a self-care routine allowed me to manage the fear and anxiety that had slowly overtaken my life.

Fast forward a year or two, life happened (because it always does).
My wheels were spinning, and I was going nowhere—
I felt STUCK!
Day after day, I fell short of my idealized perfection, dreading the thought that tomorrow would be just the same.
I felt lost & without purpose. I knew there was more to life—yet I had no idea where to find it.

In total shame and desperate for direction, I turned to a mentor.
She embodied strength, calmness, courage and authenticity —all the qualities I lacked and longed for.
​
Her advice continues to serve me well —
"You can’t live in the present
until you release the past—
and there can be no future
until you are fully present.”
​
Words of wisdom finally settled within my soul; a pivotal moment that sparked my healing journey.
​
I had to get intentional about learning to let go of my past, releasing judgment & forgiving myself.
The process was slow and definitely not linear; healing takes time.​
I became motivated by a deep desire to understand who we are as humans.

Why do we act and speak the way we do--especially under pressure?

Why are we so terrified of being vulnerable and letting others see who we truly are?

Why is it that courage is our key to freedom, yet we consistently choose comfort instead?

And shame—don’t even get me started—why do we place so much value on what other people think of us?​

We are 100% imperfect humans. We are wired for connection & belonging, and we need a plan of ACTION (plus a great mentor) when things get tough, because **NEWS-FLASH** sooner or later, they eventually do!
Those life lessons I learned the hard way now play a central role in my work as a Wellness & Life Coach.

Whether you’re a little confused or totally lost; whether you have a plan in mind or are taking a huge leap of faith, I want you to have everything you need to find deep fulfillment and live with real purpose.

Coaching vs. Therapy

Unlike therapy or counselling which dive into your past, coaching focuses solely on the present and future. Coaching methods promote a solution-focused mindset and look to keep you moving forward.
